Creating art for PBS KIDS headquarters was an incredible honor. We just moved into this new building, we just launched our new brand, and at first, I wanted to make these elaborate graphical masterpieces. Xavier Riddle was my trial balloon, and man, it feels like an 80’s X-Men comic book.
But the Arthur graphic stuck with me. It was clean, simple, and abstract. I knew I could not do that for all of them, but it provided an excellent opportunity to utilize our new brand colors.
As always, keep it simple.
