Keep it simple, if a fan can etch the design into a school desk with virtually no artistic talent, you have a winner. With Elm, I wanted it to be similar to the black flag or Dead Kennedys logos with a mix of organic simplicity. That simplicity would allow for visual contrast against a busy, visually complex event flyer or to stand out against a clean background boldly.
