He is an exceptionally passionate designer, renowned for his ability to create stunning user interfaces across various digital platforms, including web, mobile, and connected TV apps. Beyond his visual design skills, Ocean is also adept in sound design, user experience design, photography, problem-solving, coding, and storytelling.

Ocean was my first manager at PBS, and I feel lucky to have started my design career under his leadership. He created a supportive and encouraging environment that allowed me to grow not only as a designer but also as a confident contributor to design and game reviews and team discussions. Ocean recognized that my strengths aligned with UI design and encouraged me to explore the field, which ultimately shaped the direction of my career.

From the start, he was my cheerleader for my first and many steps into the kids media world, helping me find my footing and confidence. He juggled so many projects and skills during that time - audio mixing, photography, designing, team leading, and managing contractors. The interactive promotions I built on the pbskids.org homepage were designed in collaboration with him. It was always exciting to brainstorm the interactives together and pushing the limits of what we could do. He was someone who had a hand in everything - if you needed something, he knew where it was, who to ask, or had it on hand already.

Ocean has been such an incredible creative to work with at PBS. If you are looking for someone with quick turn around times, fast communication, organized, creative, natural leader/mentor, you found the right guy. Ocean was my lead on a PBS design project, but he was so much more than that. He made sure every detail was correct and looked the best it could. This project was fast paced with limited time.

Ocean is very creative and detail oriented. He managed to bring a lot of new ideas to the table and deliver on them.
