Icons are a great exercise in minimalist design and illustration composition. Once there is a plan, the iterations to keep that icon fresh become the challenge. Then once you have that figured out, the devices update their specs and even change the icon’s shape.
It is all a grand challenge. Hold on to it and enjoy the ride. I’ve had the great pleasure of creating icons for PBS KIDS and their corresponding shows.
