Franciscan International: Human Rights Handbook

SKETCH | GRAPHIC

For the 2003 Human Rights Handbook on human trafficking, I took a deliberately different visual approach than the typical UN publications, which often featured dark, heavy designs. Drawing inspiration from street art, I created a bright, colorful layout that aimed to engage readers while addressing a serious subject. Nearly 20 years later, I remain proud of the handbook’s overall impact and effectiveness in communicating its message.

THE Finished Product

It still brings me joy that in the early 2000’s to give a human rights handbook a urban street art flair.
