Could a simple recipe of logo, character, and background be transformed into a design system within a content management system to generate a variety of graphic formats? That was the question we explored during the PBS KIDS redesign project. Working with Cassie Le, I developed a design system and templates that proved the concept was feasible.
The project has since been deprioritized, but it marked one of my first opportunities to experiment with automation—and raised an important question: just because we can, should we?
Final Product
