Music with Teeth

A Seattle-based events team approached me with the brief: “Victorian poster art meets Y2K raver vibes” for an event flyer. After reviewing mood boards and discussing examples in depth, we refined the vision to maintain the Victorian letterpress aesthetic while incorporating Art Deco-inspired line work.

For typography, I selected the Reborn font and matching dingbats to complement a custom font I had previously created for the Boiler Kitchen. Considering the project’s potential as a recurring event series, we incorporated QR codes to create a compact, reusable flyer that could be easily updated and distributed.
